Don’t forget that Kenilworth Arts Festival starts on Thursday 20th too, with Bake Off queen Ruby Tandoh talking about her new book Eat Up! – tickets from Kenilworth Books or via the Kenilworth Arts Festival website.
Saturday 22 September, 2-3pm: Matt Black with stories and poems for children – free, fun family event, all very welcome!
Saturday 22 September: poetry boats with John Watson. He has made beautiful wooden keels, you write a poem and he will put it on paper sails and attach them to the boat. These will be set fire to and sailed on Abbey Fields lake later that night. Come and find out more – a very special idea!
Pick up a Lost Words sheet to explore Abbey Fields or any bit of nature you might want to visit. Just a simple, fun, free activity to get everyone looking at and thinking about nature.
Join in with our Kenilworth Reads project: we’re trying to get the whole town reading My Name Is Leon by Kit de Waal.
