Amy Kakoura has a fantastic voice – powerful enough for jazz and musical theatre, quiet enough for folk, she’s amazing, and is joined by writer and musician Andrew Sharpe. They are both members of the wonderful and nationally popular Steamchicken, but are coming to the Tree House as a duo for a more intimate set of songs, old and new. Tickets are £6 in advance, £7 on the door – from the bookshop or by phone with a card, 01926 855436.
The gig is a late afternoon affair, starting at 4pm – perfect for an autumn Sunday afternoon. Refreshments available, BYOB (we have glasses and corkscrews).
Here is a song from Amy (without Andrew – couldn’t find a good clip of the two of them together!) to whet your appetites.
