The Tree House is not usually open on Mondays, but next Monday, 11 November, Adam Steiner and Gary Sykes-Blythe, the two entrepreneurs behind Here Comes Everyone (which I’ve plugged on this site before), will be opening the shop for the day, and even offering advice to anyone who would like it on writing and publishing.
In the evening, they have organised a poetry reading with Antony Owen, who will be reading war poetry to mark Armistice Day, followed by a discussion about the act of remembrance.
Should be a very special day – I sadly won’t be able to be there in the evening, but hope lots of people can make it. And do call into the shop during the day to support Adam and Gary.
